"Finian's Rainbow", A Broadway Musical, written by Fred Saidy and E.Y. Harburg, music by Burton Lane, directed by Bretaigne Windust. The playbill for the week beginning Monday, August 11, 1947, [opening January 10, 1947; closing October 2, 1948, 725 performances]; including advertising, Charles Boyer "co-starring with Ingrid Bergman in Arch of Triumph" and for the Chesterfield cigarettes.
Soft cover, 6.1/2" x 9" [a little wear, back cover and two page- corner folds: see pictures]; 44 pages including advertising, the advertising for the Chesterfield cigarettes is on the back cover, very good condition.
A blend of romantic fantasy and social commentary, "Finian's Rainbow" follows the adventures of an Irishman and his daughter, who hope to strike it rich in America using a pot of gold stolen from a leprechaun.
