Description
A French Neoclassical bronze state of the two Fates. Atropos is lounging and holds a scroll in one hand and the knife used to cut the thread of human fate. She lays with her back supported by Clotho who holds the spindle that spins the thread of human fate. The foundry mark on the statue notes, "Reduction Mecanique A. Collas Achille, brevette, cast by Barbidienne," and the inside of the base is numbered 25.
Dimensions are: 14 inches tall X 25 1/2 inches wide X 8 inches deep, 35.56 cm X 64.77 cm X 20.32 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Some minor tarnishing and age wear.
