Description

1) Two men, one with an open manual and a theodolite on a tripod. Housed in a very good, full, sixth plate case (sixth plate images are 3¼ by 2¾ inches).

2) Man standing with surveying instrument affixed to the tripod. Housed in a very good, full, quarter plate case (quarter plate images are 4¼ by 3¼ inches).

3) Man holding a manual. The tripod is off his makeshift cart with wheels. The meter can easily be read. Housed in a desirable CDV size case (holds an image that is approximately 3¾ by 2½ inches).

4) 3 men with various tools of the trade. Housed in a very good, full (new tape on spine), sixth plate case.

5) Surveyor with tripod, and canteen under his coat. Tintype is approximately 3 3/16 by 2⅛ inches. No housing.
