Description
Featured in this lot is this Tohono O'odham Indian hand woven basket, circa early 1900's. The basket shows its age with a slight patina to the beargrass woven construction. A geometric pattern is featured throughout the piece. People of the Sonoran Desert reside primarily in the U.S. state of Arizona and the northern Mexican state of Sonora.
