Cherokee & 1 National Park Photo. 1st item: Native American Cherokee carved wild cherry ram by Carl Ray McCoy, initialed and dated '90 on the underside with the original Qualla Arts & Crafts tag. 5 1/4" H X 4 3/4" W. 2nd item: Native American Cherokee carved buckeye bird by Virgil Ledford, signed on the underside. Ledford was the recipient of a North Carolina Heritage Award in 1965, the state's highest honor given for traditional arts. 3 3/8" H X 4 3/8" W. 3rd item: Cherokee carved buckeye and clay peace pipe by William Lossiah with applied leather, beads and feathers and dated 1981. Retains the original Qualla Arts & Crafts tag with maker's information, materials and date. 18" H X 17 1/4" W. 4th item: North Carolina miniature art pottery pitcher by Celia Cole, member of the Cole pottery family, Sanford, NC. 1 3/8" H. 5th item: Early National Park Service photo depicting the Great Smoky Divide located in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Pencil titled lower margin. Oral history from the consignor's grandfather's office, Congressman James Will Taylor (1880-1939). Housed in a gilt wood frame. Sight:10 3/8" H x 15" W.
