Description
Group of twelve (12) English Royal Crown Derby King's pattern Imari porcelain items, all with gilt highlights throughout, including eight (8) luncheon plates with scalloped rims, two (2) round individual covered soup tureens, and two (2) oval individual covered casserole tureens. Plates and soup tureens with red 19th Century Robert Bloor marks to underside of bases. Ranging in size from 1 1/2" H x 9" dia. to 6" H x 7 2/4" W. Provenance: The Estate of James W. Perkins, Jr., Nashville, Tennessee.
Condition
All items in overall good condition with scattered crazing, firing flaws, minor losses to polychrome and gilt. Plates with areas of loss, largest 1" to bases. One soup tureen with 3" repaired break with radiating hairline extending from rim to lower body. One casserole tureen with 2 3/4" hairline extending from rim to lower body, lid with 5" repaired break.
