Description
Seven (7) Royal Crown Derby King's pattern porcelain serving items, including one (1) compote with a tripod pedestal base, one (1) oval platter with octofoil shaped rim, one (1) square serving bowl with cut corners, and two (2) pairs of lozenge shaped serving dishes with scalloped rims. All items except the square bowl with red or blue late 18th/late 19th century Royal Crown Derby or Robert Bloor marks. Ranging in size from 1" H x 17 1/4" W to 6 3/4" H x 10 3/4" W. Provenance: The Estate of James W. Perkins, Jr., Nashville, Tennessee.
Condition
All items in overall good condition with scattered crazing, firing flaws, areas of loss to gilt, largest 5". Compote with repaired breaks, largest 12", to interior of bowl and pedestal, with radiating hairlines, fleabites, largest 1/2" and areas of loss largest 1/2" H x 3/4" W, to rim. Platter with few minute fleabites to rim.
