Vo imya mira i progressa! [In the Name of Peace and Progress!], a poster by Boris Berezovsky (1910-1977). Published by IZOGIZ, Moscow, 1959, 111 x 56 cm.
The Siberian-born graphic artist studied in Moscow in 1923 and 1924, but before the war he worked mostly in the provinces. Eventually, he moved to Moscow, where he worked as a poster artist and book illustrator. He also designed many illustrated postal envelopes as well as several stamps for the Soviet Ministry of Communications, including some on the space theme.
