Description
A heavy, Japanese iron incense burner commemorating the marriage of the then Crown Prince Akihito (now the 125th Emperor of Japan). Made of patinated cast iron with lovely style and decoration. Dia: 7 7/8 in (18.3 cm). Brought from Japan in 1960 and presented to the matriarch of a venerable San Fernando Valley estate.
