123 original photographs. 24.6x33 cm (9¾x13"), cord-bound leather album.
Daigoro Yasukawa founded the Yasukawa Electric Company in 1915, a company that has operated on the world market for over a century. Many of the photographs have hand-written captions in Kanji with white or red crayon. The photographs depict a variety of subjects including family and co-worker portraits, weddings, family and company trips, farewell parties, baseball team championships, company facilities, landscapes and student mobilization under World War II.
Condition
Condition varies with silvering, creasing and fading affecting some images; a few abrasions from 3 additional photographs that had been removed at some point; very good overall.
