Condition
Takes a wind and runs, but unsure of the accuracy of the movement. Lacking a winding key. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Likely refinished, but retains a rich, desirable patina. The saddle board is likely replaced. The mechanism and the case are likely an early marriage. Lacking feet and bottom board. Losses to the carved decoration on the hood’s pilasters. The trunk seems to be set at a bit of an angle where it joins the base.
