Provenance:
Ex Hank Voerbroker, Norwood, Ohio. Voerbroeker related that his mother, a dealer in the 1950s and 60s had found the desk on the second floor of a log house in Warren County, Ohio.

Condition
In overall fine and stable condition. Refinished surface, but is consistent throughout. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Hinges on the slant lid are replaced. There is a 1-inch patch to each foot facing, except for the proper front right foot which appears free of any repairs. The hardware, seemingly of the period, is replaced.
