Condition
Condition: Framed dimensions are 16 1/2 x 19 3/8 x 2 inches.
Canvasboard with a label from Catalina Island affixed to the reverse.
Under strong UV light two other areas of minor retouch were identified, in addition to the small horizontal line located in the center. There is some fluorescence in the stern of the vessel on the left side, perhaps with retouch used to strengthen that area, since there is no apparent damage or paint loss to be seen there. There are also two pinpoint sized dots of retouch to the center right edge near the frame. Overall the painting is in very good condition.
