Unsigned on recto, identified on an unattributed exhibition label, likely hand-inscribed by the artist and dated "...October 1921," affixed to the reverse.
Oil on canvasboard, 12 x 14 in. (30.5 x 35.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Bowing to the canvasboard support, vertical edges worn and unevenly trimmed on the reverse.

Framed dimensions are 14 3/4 x 16 3/4 x 1 1/4 inches.

The exhibition label mentioned above gives a "return by" date of April 1, 1922.

There is a fragmentary note behind the frame that explains something of the artist's family relationships, including that she was the daughter of the photographer Chansonetta Emmons (Chansonetta Stanley Emmons, 1857-1937).
