The 1963 was the final year for this Third Generation T-Bird, given their body lines, they were nicknamed the “Bullet Birds”!. This great original condition Landau T-Bird was added to the Hemken collection in March of 2000. Coming home from Arizona on a transport with “snow-birds” cars, the car’s condition reflects the benefits of the milder West Coast climate. Ford built 63,000+ Thunderbirds in 1963, but only 12,193 Landaus were sold.Powered by Ford’s big 390ci V8 and backed by their 3-speed Cruise-O Matic, this car was built for comfort on the road. It comes with power windows & power seats, tilt-away steering, AM-FM radio, working AC and tinted glass. It runs and drives well. Cracked exhaust manifolds need replacing.
