Chinese Ming Dynasty YongLe Blue and White Flori Porcelain Bottle Vase. Potted with a large cylinder vessel, jar shape, having thick and tall potted body, sturdily potted in slight ovoid belly, heavy on shoulder gently tapered on short neck, toward opening mouth prominent, with officer hat dome lid finial bud, and raised on flat wide round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flowers bloom interspersed foliage, scrolling interlocking tendril and auspicious pattern. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
