Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Sky Blue GE Motif Porcelain Vase. Potted with a vessel shape, globular drum belly, heavy on mid, round close mouth lip, emerging scrolling ruyi on the short neck and raised on flat wide round foot base. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in sky blue underglazed base color which contrast against the Ge design color. Distinctive GE crackled glaze also known as jinsi tiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of several lines that appear in the crackled surface. Sky Blue greyish stoneware glaze with an intentionally closely crackled glaze. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
