Comprising an Egyptian modled clay figure of Harpocrates, Pompeian clay shallow bowl with black slip, ancient Corinthian aryballos decorated with scale pattern, ancient Egyptian red clay oil lamp, ancient clay pitcher form vial, ancient Greek skyphos decorated with black and red slip, ancient terracotta vessel with black slip and handle with loss, Egyptian molded clay oil lamp, ancient Italian clay oil lamp. {Approximate dimensions: Harpocrates 8 1/2 inches high, other items 1 - 2 3/4 inches high.}. From a Walnut Creek, CA estate. The collector has various receipts and correspondences for similar items from Sotheby's circa 1970, and a 1990 appraisal from C.L. Wysuph and Associates INC. featuring these items. Condition: Loss to handle on skyphos and small black slip vessel, the black slip vessel with repairs. Repairs to Harpocrates. Wear throughout consistent with age.
