Description

Group of five earthenware candlesticks comprising: a pair of Metropolitan Museum of Art faience candlesticks, modeled after the French circa 1750-160, pair of Omnibus green acanthus patterned candlesticks, and a single mid-century Italian Meiselman Imports lion-form candlestick. All marked appropriately Approx. of the lion, h. 8.5", w. 5.5", d. 3".

Condition

All with wax residue; lion with repaired stem and crazing; the rest with no apparent chips, cracks or restorations when examined under ultraviolet light.
