Framed Travel's Guide US Map - "Travel's Guide Through the United States, a Map of the Roads, Distances, Steam Boats & Canal Routes, by J.H. Young, Philadelphia, Published By S. Augustus Mitchell, 1836". Map features the eastern half of the U.S. Old patch and sporadic areas of discoloration, hand-colored. UPDATE: we have removed the map from its frame, (professionally framed in 2014.) The back of the map has penciled hand-writings, see photos. Photos also show some of the stains, old taped seams, the two hinged masking tape areas holding the map to the backboard, and a view of the map without the glass. The buyer will have the shipping option of getting the map only, carefully prepared for safe shipping, or we will secure it inside the frame.
