(Marx, 1966) A Batmobile with Siren friction toy manufactured by Marx. This style of Batmobile toy was only released in the UK and is composed of a hard plastic body with translucent canopy windows (missing the rear passenger seat window), rubber wheels (missing front passenger wheel), plastic hubcaps (melted around the edges), and a plastic figure of Batman figure in the driver's seat (Robin figure not present). The friction mechanism works and produces a metallic siren screech. Measuring 3.25"x10.75" and 4.25" deep, the Batmobile is in good condition with a 1.5" crack behind the cockpit, a 1" crack to the right of the driver's windscreen, minor wear to the Bat Symbol decals, and minor scuffs and scratches. A replica box is included.
