(Marx, c.1950s) A set of (4) tin-litho wind-up Dipsy Crazy Cars manufactured by Marx. The set includes Mickey and Donald, and Marx characters Dora and Dan. When the integral winding keys are turned, the cars drive in "crazy" patterns, leaning back to perform wheelies and executing abrupt turns. The heads bobble as the vehicles move. The Mickey and Donald figures are constructed of tin-litho; Dora and Dan are celluloid plastic. The mechanicals have been tested and all, save for Dan, are in working order. Ranging in size from 5.5"x5.5" and 3.25" deep to 6.25"x5.5" and 3.25" deep, the Crazy Cars are in good to very good condition with some paint loss, spot soiling, nicks, scratches, scuffs, rubbing, and minor oxidation. Dan's rear right wheel is loose, which blocks the axel. Restoring full functionality will require service.
