Description
Two small Chinese Longquan celadon jars dating from the Yuan dynasty. The shoulders of both jars have low relief designs of dragons.
Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide, 7 cm X 8.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: One jar has significant cracking throughout. The other has crazing and some cracking.
Provenance: From the estate of Lim Kee Chin, who was Singapore's trade commissioner to Hong Kong in the 1960s. Mr. Lim acquired these items while he was in Hong Kong.
