Description
A group of 2 jade seals dating from the Ming dynasty or earlier and carved with turtles. One features a Chinese 4-character mark, while the other has a Tibetan 4-character mark.
Dimensions are: 1 inches tall X 1 inches wide, 2.54 cm X 2.54 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The Tibetan seal is missing the head of the turtle, significant wear to both.
Provenance: From the estate of Lim Kee Chin, who was Singapore's trade commissioner to Hong Kong in the 1960s. Mr. Lim acquired these items while he was in Hong Kong.
