Oil on board showing a gentleman, perhaps a rabbi, with long grey beard and black kippah, entitled to verso: "Czadick" (The Righteous.) Behrmann studied at the Academy of Munich from 1900-1904 and later in Paris. He traveled widely in Europe, North Africa and the Near East, and exhibited in Palestine, Morocco, New York and Hamburg.
