Description

English Carved Oak Wing Chair, late 19th c., the arched back over two wings and upholstered curved arms, above an upholstered seat, on turned and square legs, joined by rectangular stretchers, in medieval style figural upholstery with iron tack decoration, H,0 48 in., W.- 27 1/2 in., D.- 31 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. Seat sags slightly but is sturdy. No snapgs/pulls to needlepoint. Two gouges through finish on back rail between rear legs. Two shrinkage cracks to proper left rear leg, but sturdy nonetheless. No stains.
