Julius Paul Schmidt-Felling (1835-1920, German), "The Javelin Thrower," late 19th c., patinated bronze, signed on rear of the integral base, on a black marble plinth, now lacking the javelin and the plume of his helmet, Figure- H.- 20 1/2 in., W.- 16 1/4 in., D.- 11 in., Plinth- H.- 5 in., W.- 5 1/2 in., D.- 8 3/4 in., Total H.- 25 1/2 in.
