Description

Here is a blown-up photo poster of a woman from 1945. She stands next to a small plane, possibly a mail plane. There are faded stickers with the 1945 date along with May 8th, which is 'Victory in Europe Day. This is the day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Germanyâ€™s unconditional surrender of its armed forces. There is also a faded sticker near this that mentions Birthday. This might have been made for the woman's birthday. The framed photo poster is approx 20 1/2" x 1" x 28" and weighs 5lbs. The framed photo poster is in a good, vintage condition with some markings on the poster and wear on the frame. The glass is also slightly loose from the frame.
