Description
Eugene Pechaubes born in a Paris suburb in 1855. Studied at the Fine Arts Academy of Paris. He devoted himself to painting military and historical subjects with great skill and success. This particular painting represents the salvos in honor of the arrrival of the Frencg King in the Harbour of Toulon in the Mediterranean, during the 17th Century. Includes all original paperwork and documentation from the Firenze Gallery in Florence Italy in 1970 by the private collector; this lot is located and shipping from FARMINGTON, CT.
