VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE, LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA PHOTOGRAPHS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a Michael Miley collage of VMI cadet portraits surrounding the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity emblem, with Miley stamp lower left edge, and a panoramic image of the VMI parade grounds showing a formation of cadets and mounted military figures, automobiles lining the road at rear, and Jackson statue and battery in foreground. 1870s and 1920s. 13 1/2" x 10 1/2" and 16" x 19" OA.
Provenance: The estate collection of Alan R. Shirkey, Harrisonburg, VA.

Condition

Miley image with trimmed edges and light spotting, other with loss of one corner of board and roughness to edges, none affecting the image.
