WILLIAM HENRY PYNE Etching of a Chelsea Pensioner, inscription reads ‘Published Jan 1st 1805 by William Miller, Albemarle Street No 6’, subject a man in a uniform with a cane, measures 19 1/8 x 15 1/2 inches, gilt wooden frame, surface wear to frame, framed and double matted in pink, piece loose in frame, not examined out of frame, William Henry Pyne was an English writer, illustrator and painter, who also wrote under the name of Ephraim Hardcastle. He trained at the drawing academy of Henry Pars in London.
