Description

This is an original hand-painted background cel from a Dr. Seuss animated short by DePatieâ€“Freleng Enterprises. We are not sure what short this was from but it appears to be from the animated special, "Dr. Seuss On The Loose! Which was a collection of short toons based on different Dr. Seuss short stories. The framed cel is approx 15" x 2" x 20" and it weighs 5lbs. The framed cel is in a good, vintage condition with some markings on the back and some very small and light creases on the cell, and some scratches on the frame. Please see the images as they are part of the description. Please note, this was acquired from a customer who acquired these from Friz Freleng's widow Lily Schoenfeld Freleng. Friz Freleng's company, DePatieâ€“Freleng Enterprises.
