Retailed Bigelow Kennard & Co., Boston; including eleven dinner forks, twelve dinner spoons, twelve luncheon forks, twelve teaspoons, six serving spoons, master butter knife; 54 total pieces, monogrammed, in the original presentation case, 92.35 ozt. From the family and descendants of Charles Potts Talbot (1807-1884) and Harriet Rogers Talbot, of Billerica and Lowell, Massachusetts. Talbot was the founder of C.P. Talbot and Company and, with his brother Thomas, co-founder of the Talbot Mills in North Billerica. Thomas Talbot would later serve as the 31st Governor of Massachusetts
