[NATIVE AMERICANS]. A group of 2 cabinet cards of Native American subjects wearing Anglo-style clothing, one armed.Cabinet card featuring full standing studio portrait of a young Native American man holding a Winchester 1876 rifle in his right hand. Subject also has a Colt single-action revolver tucked into the waistband of his pants which appear to have been pulled on top of another pair of pants, indicating that perhaps the clothing and weapons may have been studio props. Heppner, Oregon: Theo Danner, n.d. (dampstain on verso affecting approx. 2/3 image, soil, wear to corners). Danner's imprint on mount recto. -- Cabinet card standing studio portrait of a young Native American man in western-style apparel with his hand casually resting on sash at his waist. Waynesboro, Virginia: Virginia Photo. Co's, n.d. (scattered markings, wear to corners, light contrast). Imprint on mount recto and verso.
