Philadelphia, PA, 8 October 1869. 1 page, 8vo, light creasing. -- Autograph letter signed ("Anna E Dickinson") to Mike White. Auburn, NY, 15 February 1878. 1 page, 8vo, old creases, some tape from mounting. -- Together, 3 autograph letters signed.[With:] RODDY, William, photographer. Vignetted studio portrait of Dickinson. Meadville, PA, n.d. 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 in. CDV on cardstock mount (some toning and fading). Photographer's imprint to mount verso. Dickinson was a skilled orator advocating for abolition and women's rights. In 1864, she became the first woman to give a political address before the United States Congress.
