DESCRIPTION: A vintage Black Forest style hand carved wooden desk top inkstand formed as a dog, depicting a long haired little dog with fabulous detail to the flowing ears and facial characteristics and further decorated with glass inset eyes. This dog inkwell is designed as a hinged box, with aperture at the dogs head and a log pen tray.
CIRCA: 20th Century.
DIMENSIONS: W: 9 1/2" H: 6".
