Historic replica of the 1887 Walter Scott Lenox vase. White porcelain with matte finish, in high relief. Displayed on velvet covered stand atop a wood base and encased in a classic hand blown lead bell jar. With titled gold plaque to base.
In 1887 Walter Scott Lenox (1859-1920) designed the original vase which has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and other leading museums. This piece is number 216, reproduced in c.1976 in a limited edition of 5,000 from the Lenox China Heritage Collection. Lenox backstamp, numbered to bottom base.
