Description
Framed Figure Drawing, Charcoal, Edwin Howland Blashfield. This is a skillful figure drawing of a person resting on their arms by Edwin Howland Blashfield (American, 1848-1936). It is charcoal with white chalk on gray paper. This was from a model study Blashfield did; it has Cleveland (II) written near the bottom. It has a lovely, gold-gilt frame. The back side has a temporary registration tag from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. This beautiful figure drawing is set in a ornate gold frame.
Dimensions are 34.75 in h x 27.5 in w x 1.75 in d. Condition is very good. There are some small scuffs throughout the frame, revealing the red underneath. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
