French Jardiniere Flower Pot Signed by Vincent Garnier. This is a French Jardinière, which means "flower box" or "planter" in English. It is painted white, and is possibly made out of porcelain or ceramic. It is artfully decorated with leaves, vines, grapes, and an image of a face at the top center that almost resembles the god Pan. The top part of the planter is wide, with a sizable opening, but then flares down and inward to the narrower base. Near the edge of the base, it is marked, "Verdien," and in another place, it is inscribed, "Vincent Garnier, Paris." This gorgeous Jardinière would be a lovely addition to any garden.

Dimensions are 28 in h x 22 in w x 22 in d. Condition is good. There is a light amount of crazing and discoloration, as well as some chipping. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
