Rare Indo Persian Islamic warrior shield large size.
Made of heavy steel hand hammered & hand chisel.
Bottom rim chiseled and engraved with Arabic inscription.
Central panel has Sun figure with rays.
Surface : Decorated with finely carved spiraling segments of meandering dense flowering vine bands.
The shield bears an elaborate chiseled engraving over its surface with floral& creeper design.
The shield is large than usual shield, it measures 19 inches in diameter.
Has 4 domed bosses chiseled with flower motifs.
Inside of the shield has thick cloth cushion & 2 cotton handles to hold shield.
