Elvis Presley Lot of (25) 8" x 10" Taekwondo Photographs W/COA - This lot includes (25) various 8"x10" photographs of Elvis Presley practicing Taekwondo along with his instructor Kang Rhee. Elvis became interested in taekwondo when he served in the Army in Germany, and his former instructor Ed Parker highly recommended Kang Rhee when he returned to Memphis. During their four year period together, they became good friends and Elvis adopted his training name of "Tiger" which is seen here on the certificate. Close friends of Elvis call this four year period "The Golden Years", as they represented a time of peace and spiritual contentment for him. Kang Rhee passed away on August 16th, 2019 and this is a highly collectible and historic item from the era known as "The King and Kang". This lot includes (21) photos from original negatives, purchased by our seller from the photographer in 1983, and (4) additional photos. The lot will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Elvis Presley Museum and Rock & Roll Museum in Denmark.
