Alexandra Nechita Authentic & Large Original Hand-Embellished Serigraph on Canvas, titled, "Sunflower Fields" that was completed when she was only 11. Of all the artworks Nechita has created, often her most desired images were completed when she was a childhood prodigy, as it was said she painted in the style of Picasso, and with the color of Matisse, earning her the nickname "The Petite Picasso". Additionally, this piece has been elaborately custom framed in a wood moulding, as shown, to enhance its spectacular imagery. The piece is HAND SIGNED and Numbered (A.P. 14 of 50) by Nechita, and comes with a gallery COA. It is from one of her best, and most desirable series ever, which she created using her fascinating vision and unmatched genius to develop stunning images of fantasy. Finally, the serigraph is of impressive craftsmanship and size, measuring 46" x 25" and 56" x 35" with its custom frame, which is the perfect compliment. Alexandra Nechita: Alexandra Nechita was born in 1985 and began drawing at the age of two. At seven, she was painting with oils and acrylics, and her first exhibit was a one-woman show held at a Los Angeles public library when she was just eight years old. Alexandra's talent was instantly recognized as crowds came to see her amazing and often monumental paintings. After seeing her art, the press labeled her "The Petite Picasso." Alexandra attracted the attention of art critics and media who began telling the world about this rarest of child prodigies - an artist who had mastered drawing and color, an artist who had created a visual language of her own, in a unique, lyrical, figurative, abstract cubist manner, an artist who had only recently turned nine years old. By age ten, she was producing strikingly accomplished canvases, which were easily compared to the work of talented, fully mature artists. Her works have a developed artistic personality, highly sophisticated and fully alive to the nuances and possibilities of her medium.
