The serpentine toprail above a wheat-sheaf form pierced back, shaped arms and serpentine overupholstered seat, raised on molded square legs joined by a stretcher; with black plastic Norman Adams label. Height 37 1/2 inches (95.3 cm), width 24 1/2 inches (62.3 cm), depth of seat 19 inches (48.3 cm).

Previous restorations, repaired breaks to top rail above both junctures of stiles, old marks and scratches, splat shoe sunfaded and with age cracks, lacking corner braces to front rail of frame and now with later corner blocks, one back corner brace later, repaired break to back right foot and now with triangular patch, scuffs, old marks and scratches to legs and stetchers; please note that Doyle does not guarantee the condition of upholstery; wear to seat upholstery, tears to front of seat with stuffing showing through.
