Continental porcelain allegorical figure of Prudence, late 19th century, depicted as a woman holding a black mirror in her right hand and a snake in her left, a putto wearing a mask is seated at her feet, the whole resting on a circular naturalistic base, with an impressed mark 'Klughlit' (sic) 'Klugheit,' or Prudence en verso, the underside with a crowned D mark and an impressed number '729,' 10.25"h x 4.5"dia.
