Description
Bedeutende ungarische Kleinbild-Spiegelreflexkamera. Mit Artar 1:3.5/5 cm No. L149299.
Dabei: Braune Bereitschaftstasche.
Important Hungarian 35 mm SLR camera. It is the first serial-produced model of a single lens reflex camera with a metal focal plane shutter and an eye-level viewfinder for a non-reversed image. Other innovations on this camera included the introduction of the instant return mirror and the automatic diaphragm, both years before these functions were widely used. Designed, developed and built by Jeno Dulovits in the Gamma factory in Budapest. Dulovits was known even earlier as the inventor of the DUTO soft focus lenses, which he had developed in collaboration with Mikos Tóth from 1930 (DUTO = Jeno DUlovits + Mikos Tóth). With Artar 5 cm f/3.5 No. L149299.
The camera in much better than average condition.
Included: Brown everready case.
Serial Number: 1490491
Production Year: 1949
