Italian hand-painted porcelain plaque after Raphael in elaborate gilt frame along with oval Florentine easel frame, details include: plaque After Raphael Sanzio (Italian 1483-1520), "The Madonna Della Sedia", oil on porcelain, verso marked "Firenze", some wear to finish, diam. of plaque 6" inches, contained in an ornate, carved, gilt wood frame replicating the original which hangs in the Pitti Palace in Florence, shell, putti and acanthus leaves in relief, some loss and craquelure, size of frame: 14 1/2" h. x 12" w. circular 6" diam.; along with small Florentine gilt easel frame, curling leaf border with dentil border, mounted for hanging, some scattered loss, 3 1/2" h., both pieces with wear consistent with age and use.
