Condition

Visual: Craquelure and varnish discoloration throughout. Surface dirt and grime. Stretcher bar creases across the middle and along the four edges. Damage to the canvas from a verso nail lower center. Small spots of the varnish layer lifting from the canvas upper center, upper right and lower right, the largest quarter-sized. Frame abrasion with paint loss along the lower edge.

Blacklight: Touch-up and restoration throughout. Difficult to read under heavy varnish.

Frame: 58" H "x 45" W x 5" D
