Description
A Chinese Lushan kiln ewer dating from the Tang dynasty. The ewer has a black flambe glaze. It has three handles, with a molded figure beneath two of the handles.
Dimensions are: 7 inches tall X 6 inches wide, 17.8 cm X 15.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is general age appropriate wear including use wear to the spout.
Provenance: From the estate of Lim Kee Chin, who was Singapore's trade commissioner to Hong Kong in the 1960s. Mr. Lim acquired these items while he was in Hong Kong.
