Pre-Columbian, Nayarit, Chinesco figure. Ca. 300 B.C. - 300 A.D., a large pottery figure with large head, pierced ears, hands resting at sides, spread legs, with strong read and cream paint. Wearing a head band, necklace, and a decorative belt. Dimensions: 8-3/4" H x 7-1/2" W; Weight: 2 lbs. 7 oz. Provenance: Ex. private collection, Brooklyn, NY

Repair to side of head and right leg reattached, chip at nose.
