Chinese Yuan Dynasty Douqing Flori Motif Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, flori form lip, thick, large, raised on correspondence footed ring base and slight concave. The dish wall is finely carved in clean white base color which contrast against cobalt blue fine color, depicted of flowers bloom interspersed fresh foliage, tendril and enclosed with auspicious pattern. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
